Salads include the Grilled Shrimp and Berry Salad, Avocado Seafarer, and Southwest Shrimp Salad among others. At Captain D’s, we believe that everyone should enjoy delicious, affordable seafood meals. We don’t cut corners on quality, which is why the fish we serve are whole fillets.

Sea Captain’s House Atmosphere

With seasonal live music and a friendly, warm atmosphere, we promise it will be the best seat in the house! With amazing views, a beautifully crafted oyster bar top, two flat-screen TVs, and a backlit bar with lights that change color, they’ve created a relaxing spot to catch up with friends and family. The new bar features a variety of bourbon and whiskey-centered cocktails from a new mixed drink menu. Sea Captain’s House offers a breakfast buffet with eggs, omelets, and a selection of fresh hot and cold items, along with a full breakfast menu.

Our Menus

Filet Mignon and South African Lobster Tail with your choice of sides, and a dessert. Sandwiches & Wraps are served with your choice of baked potato, french fries, chef’s specialty vegetable, coleslaw, pasta salad or stone ground cheddar grits. On June 25, 1965, Jack and Jeanette Haley opened Captain Jack’s on Pacific Coast Highway in Sunset Beach. Jack was a local boy – growing up in Seal Beach, attending Huntington Beach High School and Long Beach State University. Serving guests low-country appetizers, seafood, salads, and desserts with an oceanfront view has remained a favorite among visitors and locals alike. Open for breakfast, lunch, and dinner seven days a week, and Sea Captains House always has a place for you at their table. A Myrtle Beach restaurant was built in 1930 by Henry Taylor of High Point, NC.

Indulge in a newly added Captain’s Favorite, Tuscany Seafood Pasta. Another must-try is the Dry Aged Bone-In Strip – CAB seasoned 16 oz bone in strip dry aged for 28 days, grilled, and topped with a compound herb butter. If you’re a fan of oysters, the freshly added Fried Oyster Dinner may be the choice for you. There’s no better way to start the day than with a delicious breakfast. Our new and improved breakfast menu will still offer our famous Breakfast Buffet with eggs, omelets, and a fresh selection of hot and cold breakfast delights.

With its rich maritime history and timeless coastal charm, this legendary establishment offers an unforgettable dining experience. Lunch specials change weekly, giving repeat customers something new to look forward to. Diners can also choose from 10 different sandwiches or any number of fresh seafood dishes.

Feed the whole family with a variety of affordable seafood options. The world's largest species of flatfish is here, all the way from the central Gulf of Alaska! We offer several preparations during the season, including pan-seared, grilled and Macadamia nut-crusted Halibut. In addition, to our full menu, a special three-course Valentine’s Day menu will be available for $80, including a starter, an 8-oz.

For 10 plus years the Taylor family vacationed at their oceanfront beach cottage. During the 1940s, Charles W. Angle purchased the cottage, enjoying the sound of the ocean’s tide until 1954, when Mrs. Nellie G. Howard purchased the cottage and began operating Howard’s Manor. With nine guestrooms and three home-cooked meals daily, the guesthouse was a forerunner in providing the warm southern hospitality Myrtle Beach is known for today. Howard’s Manor was advertised as a place where friends meet each year with the beach at their front door.
